Who we are
Skybreak AI is an independent review site for AI tools aimed at short-form video creators. We do not build AI tools ourselves. We test, review and recommend them.
What information we collect
Three kinds. First, information you give us directly: your name and email when you subscribe to the newsletter; your name, email and message if you use the contact form; and, if you take the quiz, your answers, plus your name and email if you ask for your results by email. With the contact form and quiz we also record your browser type and a scrambled, one-way version of your IP address (never the IP itself), purely to prevent spam. Second, if you click through to a tool we recommend, we log that click: which tool, the page you came from, your browser type, and the same scrambled IP, so we can see which tools readers find useful and credit the affiliate referral. Third, information collected automatically by Google Analytics (GA4): the pages you visit, your device and browser type, referring links, and an approximate location derived from your IP address. We never collect payment information and you do not need an account to browse.
How we use it
Newsletter and quiz details are used to send the weekly AI tools roundup and your personalized quiz results. Click and analytics data are used in aggregate to understand which content and tools are useful, to credit affiliate referrals, and to improve the site. We do not sell or rent your personal information to third parties.
How it's stored
Subscriber data is stored securely via our database provider. Their privacy policy governs how they handle data at the infrastructure level.
Affiliate links
Skybreak AI earns commissions when you click affiliate links and make a purchase. This costs you nothing extra. We disclose affiliate relationships clearly near every affiliate link on the site. Our editorial opinions are independent of these relationships.
Your rights
If you are in the EU (GDPR) or California (CCPA), you have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time. To exercise these rights or to unsubscribe, email hello@skybreakai.com.
Children
This site is not directed at children under 13.
Changes
If this policy changes materially, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
